We believe in transparency, fairness, and art made with intention. Each WYNDAR* print is made especially for you - printed on demand, sustainably produced, and carefully packaged.
Below you’ll find the full refund and return terms, written in accordance with Austrian and EU consumer law.
1. Made-to-order production
All artworks offered through WYNDAR* are made-to-order fine art prints, produced individually only after an order is placed.
Because of this, they qualify as goods made to the consumer’s specifications under §18(1) Z 3 Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG).
Therefore, the statutory right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) does not apply once the printing process has begun.
This means you cannot cancel or return your order simply because you changed your mind, chose the wrong size, or decided on a different artwork later.
We clearly indicate this exemption before checkout, in compliance with Austrian and EU law.
2. Your statutory rights remain
The above does not affect your statutory warranty rights (Gewährleistungsrechte) under §§922 ff Allgemeines Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch (ABGB) and §9a Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG).
That means: if your artwork arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, you are fully protected by law.
You may request:
- a repair (if feasible),
- a replacement (new print),
- a price reduction, or
- a refund (if the defect is substantial or cannot be remedied).
These rights exist for two years from delivery. WYNDAR* will bear all costs for justified claims under warranty.
3. Damaged or incorrect orders
If your print arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong artwork, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at contact@wyndar.com
Include your order number and photos showing the issue.
We will:
- Replace the item free of charge, or
- Refund the full purchase price, including shipping costs, depending on your preference and feasibility.
You will not incur any return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.
4. Lost or delayed shipments
If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us.
We’ll coordinate with our shipping partners to locate your parcel. If the item is confirmed lost, we’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund.
5. Refunds for approved claims
Approved refunds are processed using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
You will receive confirmation by email once the refund has been initiated.
Refunds are typically completed within 10 business days, but always within the legal limit of 14 days after the return or confirmation of defect.
6. Minor variations
Due to the nature of fine art printing, slight differences in color, brightness, or paper texture may occur compared to digital previews.
These are considered normal characteristics of high-quality printing and do not constitute defects under consumer law.
7. Incorrect delivery address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order.
We cannot offer refunds or replacements for parcels lost due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.

9. Legal jurisdiction
This Refund & Return Policy is governed by Austrian law.
For consumers, the mandatory protective provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence also apply.
